MUSHROOM & BLACK GARLIC STEAK SAUCE

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
200g chestnut mushrooms, quartered
4-5 black garlic cloves, chopped
1 medium red chilli, seeds removed
2 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons creme fraiche
Plus, your choice of steak cut
HOW TO MAKE
- In a pan with medium heat, brown mushrooms in butter (about 6-7 minutes). Stir in the chilli and black garlic and let it sizzle for 2 minutes. Turn the heat off and stir in creme fraiche. Cover the pan with a lid to keep the sauce warm until your steak is ready.
- Place your steak seasoned side down in a hot pan set over medium high heat. Cook it according to your steak cut.
- Serve your mushroom and black garlic sauce over the steak or in a small side dish next to the steak.
